Citrus oils are typically produced in a process coordinated with the extraction of the fruit's juice, where the oils are first pressed from the outer peel, and then the juice of the whole fruit is extracted. This is also the case for Wild Orange: the oil is cold-pressed from the outer peel of 154 oranges to produce a 15 ml bottle of Wild Orange essential oil.
